For hill walking, Ben Lawers and 12 munros are within a 6 mile radius. If you like fishing, salmon and trout fishing can be arranged. On request, we offer a Scottish breakfast with local jam and fresh bread. For supper we can offer game, fish or vegetarian dishes, using local produce where possible. Maranatha Cottage is a large semi-detached 2 bedroom bungalow situated 6 miles south of Inverness in the village of Daviot, just off the North Coast 500 in a scenic rural location. The cottage is on a working croft, where the collie can be seen working with the sheep, therefore no pets are allowed. Home baking, local eggs, and small welcome pack are provided on arrival. An ideal place for a quiet stay, but within 10 minutes drive from the city. Excellent wifi . Full licence granted

Crab Cottage provides a comfy place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the Isle of Skye. This detached, self-catering bungalow for two is situated in a crofting community. The cottage is near and above the road but shielded by bushes and visitors have said the noise is minimal. Our own house and static caravan are next to the cottage. We live with an elderly collie mix dog called Boots and 4 chickens (who live in a separate fenced off area).
