Samphire Lodge with sauna - stunning loch views

A stunning three bedroom Highland lodge on The North Route 500, boasting spectacular views. Samphire lodge is situated on a hill giving it a vantage overlooking the sea Loch to the Attadale valley. Situated at the edge of the village, you are a short stroll from local amenities. Indoors you are greeted by the warm colour of the wood, and feels especially cosy when the cast iron fire is roaring. Samphire Lodge has three spacious bedrooms, a wet room, an outdoor sauna and fully equipped kitchen.

Truly relax and unwind at this peaceful shoreside accommodation with an ever changing stunning view. Ideally located for gentle strolls from the house to the local beach and to explore this Scottish Site of Scientific Interest. Perfect for twitcher and wildlife enthusiasts, you may even catch a glimpse of an otter and seals! This is also an ideal launch site for your own kayak/canoe/SUP to just paddle around. From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Private garden plus parking for 2 cars. 300m from the centre of Portree.

Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

Featured in The Guardian Travel's '10 of the Best Wilderness Holidays in Scotland', get back-to-basics in this beautiful old croft house bothy, hidden on a mountainside between the Five Sisters of Kintail and Eilean Donan Castle, close to the Isle of Skye. With no running water or cooking facilities, this stay is not for the faint hearted. Bathe in a cold mountain stream, see the stars in the dark night sky, feel the heat from a crackling fire, and fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall.

Eddrachillis House is a comfortable, modern home with spectacular views over Badcall Bay and its islands, two miles south of Scourie on the NC500. The house is set in 100 acres of land including shoreline. The spacious open-plan living area contains a very well-equipped kitchen and dining area where you can dine under the stars. Dunaincroy farmhouse enjoys a unique setting on the Caledonian Canal midway between iconic Loch Ness and the town of Inverness (6 minutes either way.) Set in an historic Highland estate this secluded location has extensive, fully fenced gardens down to the canal and spectacular views to open countryside and the hills beyond. The wilderness of the highlands and yet only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

Enjoy pure tranquillity at Per Mare Per Terram

Per Mare Per Terram is a cosy cabin that boasts breath taking views of Loch Broom and the surrounding Munros. Standing alone at the top of Braes in Ullapool it has a wonderful cosy feeling when wrapped up inside, offering out of the way tranquillity whilst still being able to enjoy the amazing scenery no matter what the weather conditions. The cabin is equipped with a fridge, microwave,kettle, toaster and excellent wi-fi. It also has a shower room and modern composting toilet.

The Coach House at Manse House

Make some memories at this unique and friendly place. Originally the Coach House of the 18th century listed Manse House, the property was sympathetically converted in 2004. The property lies in the gardens of the Manse in central Tain. It has great access to the main visitor attractions of the Eastern Highlands and makes a great place to relax or to use as a comfortable spot from which to explore the Highlands. Pets are welcome. Charming original features including stone spiral stairs, traditional Scottish timber clad walls, stone/pine flooring and even a privy directly over the river below! Recently renovated.
