Beech Nook is a hidden gem in a semi rural location with lovely countryside walks from the doorstep. The one bedroom property is a self contained bungalow which is ideal for couples who want a peaceful stay. The host lives just next door, so is on-hand for any queries. Halifax is just a 5 minute drive away with the famous Piece Hall, Shibden Hall and many bars and restaurants. The beautiful landscape of the Calder Valley is a short drive or you can be in the Yorkshire Dales within an hour.

Situated on the cobbled Hough, our recently renovated, 18th century building boasts two en-suite bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen/diner and a cosy , first floor lounge with panoramic views over Shibden Hall and estate. We’re only a 2 minute walk to the historic Shibden Park, where you’ll find a cafe, boating lake, land train and model railway, a well equipped modern playground and of course the majestic Shibden Hall.

Enter through utility room, to neat kitchen with full range of amenities. Spacious lounge, with TV, Sky Q box and Wi-Fi. Well equipped bedroom, with king sized bed. En suite bathroom with large spa bath, and shower. Secure back garden, with heating, BBQ, lighting and seating, shared with main house.

This is a beautiful country cottage. Full of antiques and oil painting. The entire cottage is to rent with 3 double bedrooms. The bedrooms are sumptuous with top of the range Egyptian bedding feather pillows and feather duvets. There’s one king sized bed . 1 Queen sized bed and 1 double bed. I renovated the place top to bottom a while ago . Guests will have 2 bathrooms. Because it is a family home, some belongings are still there. If you like minimalist style my home isn’t for you !
