Island Watch

A cozy spot for adventurers to crash. This mother-in-law style apartment is below our home just 3 miles from downtown Homer. We have kids, cats, dogs, chickens, bunnies, and two horses, it’s nothing short of an actual zoo/circus around here. While your unit is private, there will be any of the above mentioned running around in the yard at any given time. We can’t promise you won’t hear occasional footsteps but we will promise to “whisper yell” at our kids to not run in the house :)

Staying here offers glorious sunrises over Kachemak Bay. With a surprising amount of privacy for only being 5 minutes from the spit. Spend the evening with a fire as you gaze across at Grewingk Glacier, or take a stroll on the beach below the bluff, Although the beach has limited access, and would prove difficult for some, the beach does offer fossils and a adventurous little hike. There is a separate cabin that is rented on the property. Please inquire if you’d like to rent both.
