Finally, after your day of hiking, come soak in our hot tub and sip on some local wine while the sun sets over the mountains. What we do offer is a serene and peaceful home in the mountains with a rugged natural landscape, and occasional visits from bear and moose. If you’re lucky, you may have a front row seat to Lady Aurora dancing from the spacious and comfy hot tub! We are roughly forty-minutes North of the Airport, and 15 minutes away from downtown ER.

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

Welcome to our 3 bedroom, 1 bath home, perfectly placed between Kenai and Soldotna. Staying in our home, you are 5 minutes to multiple public access fishing areas on the world famous Kenai River. 2 bedrooms are furnished with Queen beds. Our home also has a loft with 2 full sized beds.
