Welcome to The Sage Getaway at Bluff Mountain Nursery. Nestled at the top of the hill in the heart of our plant nursery, you’ll be surrounded by beauty and nature alike. Several greenhouses full of amazing plants to explore. You can also visit our farm to see chickens, pigs, sheep, goats and dogs. The Sage is located on 60 acres of wooded land, with hiking only minutes from the Appalachian Trail and 6 miles from Hot Springs, NC . It’s in a spectacular and unique location with easy road access.

Farm Stay at Panther Branch with Sauna

Take it easy at our beautiful cabin in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm spans 30 acres of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. Unwind in our outdoor spa with sauna and a spring bath or simply relax and take in the serenity of the National Forest.

The Doe Branch Cabin - Modern Mountain Retreat

Sense of Place. That is the inspiration here, at least in part. The cabin is situated on 12 private acres in a remote corner of Madison County, surrounded by national forest, streams, and clear mountain air. The property has a history of artist residents, and we encourage creatives of all types to come seek the inspiration found by those that came before. The town of Marshall, an artistic enclave, is 25-30 minutes away, and downtown Asheville is a 45-50 minute drive. Hiking and rafting nearby.

Enjoy a quiet private getaway on a small family farm in the Mountains of Western North Carolina. The entire house is yours to enjoy! This oversized 1 bedroom, 2 bath home has 1 King bed, 1 queen sleeper sofa, and 1 full sleeper sofa. Lovely porch to enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the creek. Fully equipped kitchen stocked with the essentials including continental breakfast items (cereals, oatmeal, grits, baked goods etc.) and washer/dryer. Private parking at house. NO PETS please
