Climb aboard back to 1956! This DC-6 air freighter spent its life flying the skies of Alaska, hauling critical frieght and fuel to remote villages around the state. Now you can climb aboard for one last flight and stay in this 2 bedroom, 1 bath airplane house with full kitchen, living room, and cockpit! A lofted 1 bedroom with King bed, living room, small kitchen and fair size shower bathroom. Interior in native spruce log and plank. A covered deck of 262sqft with private hot tub. This is a stand alone structure about 35ft from main house. Completion date was May20th starting operations 05/25/2022 thru Oct 15th. Photos are very current with grass and rock designs for a fully fenced yard. This cabin is very classy rustic appeal. Wood works are from bettle kill Alaska spruce. Tim & I. built it.ll

Big Lake 10 minutes, Hatchers Pass Willow 25 minutes, Alaska State Fairgrounds 30 minutes, Talkeetna 1 hour, Glacier View 1.5 hours. Experience a peaceful stay and a chance to see the northern lights!

Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pet(1 dog maximum) pet not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.

What we do offer is a serene and peaceful home in the mountains with a rugged natural landscape, and occasional visits from bear and moose. If you’re lucky, you may have a front row seat to Lady Aurora dancing from the spacious and comfy hot tub! We are roughly forty-minutes North of the Airport, and 15 minutes away from downtown ER.

Cloud Nine Cottage is a charming home full of amenities that can sleep 8 (6 adults max), and most comfortably sleeps 4-5. PLEASE READ FULL LAYOUT DESCRIPTION: Two private bedrooms, and the open game room also can be used for sleeping with multi use furniture and air beds. Pets stay free! 2 max, approval must be requested prior to check-in to avoid fee. Located in the heart of Big Lake off the main roundabout. Enjoy activities while staying close to town with easy highway.

Sway gently in the trees and relax in your unique 12 X 24' (288 sq ft) studio treehouse with what one recent guest stated as "a stunning view of the Chugach Mountains!" The Treehouse offers Alaska glamping at its finest for quiet and relaxation. You may sit around your own covered fire pit (wind and burn restrictions permitting) as well as enjoy your own wood burning stove. Note: Guests must be able to climb a short, steep incline, then 20 steps of varying heights.

With everything you will need for that perfect getaway, a full kitchen and a BBQ grill, a sauna building to relax and your own private dock to swim, fish or kayak in the summer yet snowshoe or snowmachine from in the winter. Come inside and warm up by the wood stove. There is plenty to do for everyone or do nothing at all and relax and enjoy all things Big Beaver Lake!!
