Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This was the home that my brother and I grew up in. This house was built with love by our Mom and Dad. We hope you can feel the warmth and love we did growing up there. We are located 1 mile from Mattamuskeet Lake, about 20 mins from the Ferry in Swan Quarter that takes you to the Island of Ocracoke. We are also 20 minutes from State Boat Acesses. If you want a Beach Day,we are only 1 hour 15 mins for the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Watch the fishing boats, dolphins and fish. Four bedroom, three full bath home has plenty of indoor games and books.

Beautiful and peaceful cottage in the heart of the quaint city of Belhaven, on the Pungo River. Spend your days boutique shopping in town, watching the sunset over the water at the harbor. Great local fishing and wildlife refuges. Enjoy the riverfront beach in town. Spend your evenings dining on the large screened back porch and cooking on the grill. If it's a little cool out, cozy up indoors in front of the gas fire logs and have some family time playing games. Ample parking for your boat!

Go and see all the wildlife on the refuges and visit Lake Mattamuskeet Truly whatever you’d like to do! Great restaurants and shopping only 10 minutes away from this one of a kind rental. Smaller boats work best due to tide effects on the water level. Remember your bug spray, it is the country!

The Peace on the Pungo Guest House is a charming cottage built in 1927 and overlooks Slade's Creek on the Pungo River. The home has been recently renovated to capture its history and is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This cottage is located in a secluded area with waterview and quick access to the Intracoastal Waterway. The local area is great for fishing, kayaking, bird watching, or reading your favorite book.
