It's the photohgrapher's dream location. Eyjafjallajökull and Seljalandsfoss can be seen from the apartment. 4x4 is necessary during winter as the path leading to the house can get very snowy.

Perfect base near the highways to the primary tourist locations such as Thingvellir, Gullfoss, Geysir and the South Coast with the waterfalls, glaciers etc. Comfy one mattress bed (160x200cm=63x79in), tiny new bathroom, a kitchenette to make simple meals in the living room as well as a TV with Netflix. Private patio with a nice view over the country side. Nice apartment located 10 km from downtown Reykjavík with a free parking.. Swimming pool near by, grocery shops, gas station and good walking trails by the sea with a view over Viðey. Museum and galleries near by also. The apartment is on a fifth floor and in the building are 38 apartments with all kinds of neighbors so this is not a party house. I meet my guests to let them have the key.
