In the summertime there is access to a lake and a lot of beautiful walking trails and hikes in the surrounding mountains. In the wintertime this is an absolute paradise for skiing and all kinds of winter sports and activities. On the property is a small forest, a lot of birdlife and it feels like you are million miles away from the nearest town.

Himri the mountain villa

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Himri is very spacious (300 sqm) and has everything you could wish for - a fully equipped gym and game room, a sauna and a hot tub. We just bought the villa and just finished a complete renovation. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Our farm is located in the countryside, only 9 km from the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Perfect location for making trips exploring the natural beauties of south-east Iceland or simply stay at the farm for the peace and quiet, cuddle our dogs or enjoy our sauna. At the farm we have hiking and biking trails and a trail map for our guests, taking you to hidden places most people won´t have the chance to visit.

Gamla pósthúsið er mjög falleg íbúð sem við innréttuðum 2023 með fallegu útsýni yfir Ytri Rangá. Hella is very well located in the south. It is a short drive to many beautiful places. It’s really fun to stay in Hella for a few days and take a day trip to all the main places in the south. It is no problem to see the northern lights on Hella and if you drive 5-10 minutes you get out of all the street lights and manage to enjoy them even more.
