Vallakot Farm Austurbær

Vallakot Farm Guesthouse is a small guesthouse, located in Northeast Iceland in the middle of the Diamond circle. It is situated in a green and peaceful valley called Reykjadalur and the village Laugar is only a few kilometers away with a restaurant, grocery shop, a swimming pool and other amenities. Vallakot Farm is both a farm and a guesthouse and a place that has been in the family for decades. We have three studio apartments built in 2017 and a cabin that we finished renovate in June 2023.

The house is located close to the town center, and just by road 1. The location gives unobstructed views of the epic northern lights. Hiking, horse riding, boat trips and fishing during summer time, and during winter time going hiking and enjoying the nature.Perfect for groups, families and solo adventures.The house is on two floors and the first floor is just for guests and secound floor is just for my family. The floors are separated (so nothing is shared with my family). Animals are welcome

Rauðafell 1 - 2张单人床- 5号卧室

Rauðafell 1 is on the countryside and is located 45 km east of Hvolsvöllur and 35 km west of Vík. In the house Rauðafell ,wich is newly renovated, are 7 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living room. Rauðafell is near the geothermalpool Seljavallalaug, Skógarfoss waterfall and above the waterfall the popular hikingtrail over Fimmvörðuháls begins, the folk museum at Skógar is near, on the small peninsula Dyrhólaey is a stunning view over the beutiful black beach Reynisfjara with its basalt stacks.

Hygge Reykjavik Hotel 双人房

Local 101 is quietly tucked away in the of downtown Reykjavik, on a charming street made up of classical Icelandic homes. Ideally located, a mere 3 minute walk from the harbour, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants where the Icelandic local energy can be felt. The hygge, cocooning rooms include full black out curtains (a summer must), internet access all while being part of a hotel with a quality, locally sourced breakfast offering and wine to warm your soul at the end of a day of adventure.

Get close to nature and history at the very small village, Borðeyri. Tangahus guesthouse is few meters from the sea. Looking out of the windows you may feel like being on board a boat. The view from windows heading towards north is fantastic, especially at sunset in the summer time. During winter time our guests often see beautiful northern lights. Guests love to take walk to the beach and listen to the mysterious sound of the sea and seabirds. If you are lucky you can also see seals!

This nice cottage is situated in the middle of a beautiful valley, with no neighbors disturbing you. You have a sea view to the north. A stream with waterfalls and rapids down through the valley. The hut is also a good base for skitouring and moutain hiking (many trails in the area) and horse riding. We offer horse riding for additonal fee. We can ride a calm tour with beginners or a bit faster with more experienced riders. Horse riding is mostly available from May till September.

This studio is one of 16 apartments built especially for guests at the old fish factory, right on the seaside.

Our 6 bedrooms each have their own colour and theme. This room has a Queen size bed. There is a small shared living room, that offers to sit together and relax with a cup of tea or coffee. Our farm invites to a short evening stroll, laying between 2 small rivers. The nearby village offers almost anything you will need. Our family of 4 is looking forward to welcoming you on our farm. Breakfast is available for a small extra fee.
