Cozy up to the warm fire pit while delighting in bird watching during the day & stargazing at night. The spiral staircase leads to our favorite feature, the loft bedroom with picture windows & treetop views!

Welcome to the MoonCreek Cabin. This designer cabin is tucked in a quiet area surrounded by majestic trees w/ its very own seasonal stream, and a sweeping view of Lily Rock. This cabin opens up with vaulted ceilings, skylights to stargaze, large windows with amazing views, a fireplace with a warm ambiance in splendid isolation. Outside we have a huge wrap around deck w/ a hot tub. Let that mountain air filter out your stress, relax, rejuvenate and cuddle by the fire after a long day of play.

Open concept living room & kitchen/bar eating area. The home has AC and heating units in every area. Beautiful landscaped backyard with multiple seating areas. Fully fenced yard for your pups. A shed that has been converted into a playroom/bar with it’s own AC. Hiking trails are just steps away from the front door.

Just over 2 hours from Los Angeles or San Diego & 1 hour from Palm Springs, enjoy world-class hiking, breathtaking views, & all that the unique and preserved town of Idyllwild has to offer. Bathrooms were remodeled in 2023 and the kitchen in 2025!

For the cold nights, a wood burning stove and heater provide warmth and comfort, along with lots of blankets. A coffee bar and complimentary snacks are there for the taking. Wood and Stone, Mid-Century Sanctuary sits down in the forest on a spectacular, private 4-Acre property with nothing but nature as far as the eye can see. Epic views of Mt. San Jacinto Peak, and sunset views towards the ocean will make your troubles fade away. Hand built in 1979 by a master violin maker, and meticulously renovated. This property has a long walkway to the house! Please be prepared for that. Also, included is a brand new hot tub in a truly epic location waiting for you!

The cabin is set in a tranquil location in a natural setting among green pine trees and rock formations, and encourages ideal indoor/outdoor living during your stay. The cabin rests a pleasant 8 minute/3 mile drive away from downtown Idyllwild. The tactile rock formations visible from the main deck of the cabin are easily accessible from the main road, and only 2 minute walk from the cabin.
