Kern River Valley getaway near Sequoia National Forest. Our home is in a residential neighborhood called Mountain Mesa. The area offers Natural Hot Springs, Boating, Camping, Wind Surfing, Kayaking, Hiking, Hunting, Mountain Biking, Offroading, River Rafting, SUP, Snow sports at Alta Sierra, Archery, Outdoor Shooting Range, etc. The options are endless with an open mind. Kernville is 18 miles away (25 min drive). Alta Sierra is 20 miles away (35 min drive). Sequoia National PARK is 3 hours away.

Quiet and Peaceful retreat overlooking Lake Isabella. Kernville 6 miles away. Separate guest house from main house. Host on property. We would love to welcome you when you arrive and answer any questions you may have. From there, we will give you your privacy. We are located on a private paved road, off the main road in a very quiet neighborhood. Must be able to walk up 18 steps to entrance. Once inside you can relax, unwind and sit out on the patio. Rustic attached guest studio in beautiful Squirrel Valley with private entrance with EV plug. 5 min to Lake Isabella marina, 20 min to natural hot springs, 20 min to Kernville, 40 min to Alta Sierra ski resort, 1 and 1/2 hours to Trail of 100 giants. Great halfway stopping point between Death Valley and Yosemite. Perfect for traveling nurses, hospital is less than two miles away. Nature trails right out the back door. If you need assistance we will be here, but we will respect your privacy.

Hungry Gulch Getaway

This property is 1 mile up a dirt road. The road can be steep and bumpy in places . We have had over 1200 people up here with no problems. This is just a disclaimer, so you are aware before you book. Bright and roomy newer 34 foot fifth wheel with four slides that sleeps 4 comfortably. Full-size kitchen as well as bbq area. Propane fire pit set up to take in the great views, or stargaze. Quiet and secluded with beautiful views of Lake Isabella. Minutes away from mountains, lake, and river.
