The house is situated in the lovely & quiet residential area of Elmfield in Ryde, only 2 km from City Centre & 1.5 km from the white sandy beach at Appley. We think you'll love staying here as much as we do especially if you're looking for a place with a home feeling rather than a holiday let. Unique English Heritage Escape in *Bembridge* IOW

'The Annexe' forms part of the main residence built on the old parade ground of Steyne Wood Battery. The Battery was built on the eastern coastline of the Isle of Wight and became a scheduled monument in 2015, being one of the best surviving Victorian Batteries and, as such, all the bomb proof shelters, ammunition stores, gun positions and defensive structures in the surrounding grounds remain intact. The grounds around the property provide a peaceful escape in beautiful surrounds.

Oakside is a spacious detached 3 bedroom house with surrounding garden with upstairs sea views and located on a private drive leading off from Woodvale Road. It is a very quiet area. There is a separate area for working with a desk, shelves, fast wifi and a swivel chair within the open plan downstairs living area. We are most suitable for small families or couples wanting to work from home.
