Designed with the comfort of our guests and their pets in mind, Mountain Magic has everything you need for a fantastic mountain retreat.

This tastefully decorated small cottage is conveniently located just three blocks to downtown Highlands. Just a 10-12 minute walk to the shops and restaurants on Main Street. Also within walking distance is The Botanical Gardens, Sunset Rock, and Kelsey-Hutchinson Park. There are several trails directly accessible from the doorsteps of this creek side sweet spot. All new furnishings including queen sized Sealy Posturepedic Cushion Firm mattress, all cotton linen, and outdoor furniture on deck.

Mountain Rest

Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished 1 bedroom/1 bath 900 sf cottage. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and an additional trundle bed, located in the main room, which comfortably sleeps 2 people. The main room has a living space as well as an adjoining kitchen and dining area. Conveniently located between Highlands and Cashiers North Carolina, guests can enjoy the amenities of both towns as well as nearby hiking at Whiteside Mountain & Glenville lake.

Cute Cottage Above the Creek

The Cute Cottage Above the Creek is an ideal getaway destination. Sitting up on the hillside with a great view down onto the creek. The hot tub is a great place to relax after a long day hiking or to warm up after playing or casting a line down in the creek. Tastefully decorated with a fire pit just out back, swing along the creek side, corn hole, satellite tv, internet as well as the peaceful secluded setting too enjoy when you not out exploring all the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer.

At 4000+ feet & only a 10 min walk to town on the Rhododendron Trail. Totally renovated 2017!! Light & sunny 3 bed/2 bath, 750 sq. ft. Originally built by my wife's g-grandmother in the 1940's. Floor to ceiling shiplap, 17 ft. ceilings, hardwoods, reclaimed barn wood, custom fixtures, heated marble/slate bath floors, tankless water heater, gas fireplace, porch, Wifi, TV, washer/dryer, kitchenette. Beautiful gardens! Classic Highlands charm with modern comforts! Hike, fish, shop, or relax!

Brookside Cottage

Brookside cottage is newly renovated and surrounded by forest in the mountains of western North Carolina. A mountain stream descends in front of the cottage providing an restful water feature. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

Country cottage with vintage decor. Sitting next to the creek. Cozy up on the day bed on the back porch and enjoy the sound of the creek. Conveniently located to lots of attractions such as hiking, rafting, shopping and local breweries. 8.8 miles from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Only 3.7 mi. to downtown Cherokee and 8.5 miles to Bryson City. Fully stocked kitchen with Keurig coffee maker. Coffee, cream and sugar provided. Smart tv and wifi.

Retreat to the mountains in this secluded white cottage on the farm. At our little white house, you’ll be able to gaze at the twinkling constellations while enjoying the fire pit, sit on the back porch and admire the Blue Ridge Parkway in the distance while listening to the creek, and live side by side with our farm’s prize-winning Brown Swiss cattle. *Please note the fireplace is not operational.

Bark covered cottage in a lush mountain laurel forest, yet close to everything! Beautiful front porch, upscale furnishings and detailing, full kitchen, beautiful, subway tile walk in shower. The weather in Cashiers is ideal for hiking, biking, fly fishing, golf or just relaxing! We do ask three day bookings on weekends. Your dog is welcome - there is a $100 dog fee.
