He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Guests say our space is “beautiful, peaceful and clean.” You may hear some light noise transfer or see others guests (or our family) on the property. Be aware that the Roost is located on the top floor (up 2 flights of stairs). Our favorite restaurants, hiking, biking, kayaking and beach access spots are all within a 30 minute drive. Cozy up in the little living space with a fully stocked kitchen and sip your favorite drink on the covered patio overlooking the lake. The cottage is a completely private space, perched on an expansive grassy lawn. Bring your hammock and sway between the alder trees on the shoreline or build a camp fire in the fire pit provided. ~10 min drive from Forks.

Conveniently 10 minutes to the Bremerton/ Seattle ferry, and close to hiking trails and recreation in the Olympic Mountains. We have local recommendations available, and mooring options for boats.

There are 5 acres of mountain and sea views, extensive Japanese gardens, ponds, fir and cedar groves. This is a peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). National Forest and Park trails are ten minutes away.
