Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Coastland Camp and Retreat: “Relaxed by Nature.” This dreamy, custom built tiny cabin is nestled within our beautiful 12 acre property, and offers an immersive wilderness wellness experience. Our eco resort is ideally located 3 miles from Rialto Beach and only a short walk from a county park access to the Quileute River. Enjoy sunset at Rialto Beach and count shooting stars as you soak in the private, wood fired hot tub or recharge and relax in our shared, cedar sauna between ONP adventures.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This property may prove challenging for individuals with mobility issues. **Pricing is discounted due to ongoing improvements. Tools and materials are kept out of sight, but you may notice some unfinished details. Due to continued progress, appearance may vary.

Boutique hotel-style private suite—part of a larger home surrounded by trees. Guests say our space is “beautiful, peaceful and clean.” You may hear some light noise transfer or see others guests (or our family) on the property. Be aware that the Roost is located on the top floor (up 2 flights of stairs). Our favorite restaurants, hiking, biking, kayaking and beach access spots are all within a 30 minute drive. Conveniently 10 minutes to the Bremerton/ Seattle ferry, and close to hiking trails and recreation in the Olympic Mountains. We have local recommendations available, and mooring options for boats.

There are 5 acres of mountain and sea views, extensive Japanese gardens, ponds, fir and cedar groves. This is a peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). National Forest and Park trails are ten minutes away.
