Located on beautiful Damariscotta Lake, "Loon Lodge" is a rustic cabin from another era. Fall asleep to the sound of crickets and frogs and wake every morning to the call of the lake's many loons. The cabin is 30 minutes from Augusta and 15 minutes from Damariscotta. Hiking enthusiasts will enjoy climbing the Camden Hills-a quick 45 minute drive from the lake. You’ll love my place because of the views, the ambiance, the people, and the location. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

Only 4 minutes to golf, 10 minutes to capital city, Augusta, and 45 minutes to skiing as well as Atlantic Ocean!

Maybelle the Tiny Cabin on 100 acres

Maybelle is an 8x18 cabin with a full-size loft bed, a Cubic Mini Woodstove (wood provided), Natures Head Composting Toilet and Jetsetter massaging hot tub. Kayaks, paddle board, & canoe included . Walking trails surround your cabin. Outside there’s a fire pit and a quick path to the water. Maybelle's kitchen has all the cooking essentials and there's a small propane grill outside & the fire pit for cooking. Cell reception is okay in the cabin, wifi is from a Starlink booster & Window A/C

A rustic traditional Maine cottage on Damariscotta Lake, this seasonal rental features a private shorefront area with a deck, a jetty (shared with neighbors) for swimming and boat access, and a private dock with canoes and paddleboat. The cottage offers a cozy retreat on a beautiful lake, with the many attractions of midcoast Maine only a short drive away. There is a three-day minimum stay. We cannot accept third-party bookings. The person making the reservation must stay at the cottage.
