BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE guests may reserve the wood fired cedar hot tub and the sauna, which are close by and private, at an additional charge. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

This cozy 15 year old log cabin sleeps 6 comfortable and has that log cabin and log furniture feeling and look. Situated on the slopes of Mt Abrams with very easy ski in and out. With a outdoor fireplace on large deck. This is truly your log cabin experience and sking adventure. The cabin has great views of the mountain range for viewing in Fall and Winter. it has 2 King beds, 2 Queen beds, 4 Twin beds, and 1 Full size bunk bed. This log cabin sits half way up Mount Abrams so you ski in and out.

With our long private driveway and the serene pond in the backyard, you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Recently remodeled, the apartment exudes a cozy camp vibe with wide yellow pine walls, hidden doors, and beautiful views of the lake.

Each cabin sleeps 4 people, with a queen sized bedroom and a 2 twin sleeping loft, accessed by a ship's ladder. A screened-in porch is the perfect place to sit and listen to our resident loons. We offer two identical cabins for rent, Pine, listed here, and Spruce, which can be found under "Barker Pond Farm Cabins; Spruce"
