Your hosts are vintage sci-fi fans and artists, with influences and work throughout the place. Plunge into or practice your casting in our private river (Runs April through December). Originally built in the 1890s. Nestled in over 14 acres of water meadow. There is an attached but separate wing that is another listing. Two bedrooms upstairs, a large living room, loo & kitchen downstairs. no checkout chores.

OPEN FOR SPRING-Cabin built in 1940, originally bunkhouse for local lumber mill. At 6000 feet in the tall trees of Sequoia National Forest. Near ski resort, Kern river(rafting, fishing), hot springs, Lake Isabella, Trail of the Giants. Alta Sierra is dense neighborhood of cabins with neighbors close by. TWO GUESTS ONLY , NO PARTIES, NO PETS! Comfy king bed, lovely outdoor bathtub. NO WIFI. Only 1 bar cell svs-plus record player/TV/videos/books/games. Heavy snow possible!
