Very pretty converted barn in the heart of Kent. Completely private and self-contained providing you the ability to easily enjoy a socially distanced holiday. Take a long soak in our freestanding tub in the master bedroom; curl up on the super comfy sofa and indulge in our huge DVD collection; delve into the board game basket; enjoy the lovely bright living space; or cook up a storm in the well stocked kitchen. You enjoy the whole cottage to yourselves - with your own front door so you can come and go as you please. There's free and very quick wifi accessible throughout. The large kitchen is equipped with most of the implements you'll need for your stay, including an oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble drier. The contents of the welcome hamper varies seasonally, but always includes fresh bread, butter, milk and lots of other delicious bits. The cupboards are stocked with cereals, tea, coffee, spreads and basic condiments. There's a big open plan dining and living space. With a super comfy sofa (please keep the dogs off though!), DVD player (with lots of things to watch) and free-sat TV (over 200 TV channels). There is a toddler high chair in the dining area but if you require one suitable for a younger child please ask and we will do our best to accommodate. There are two big kingsize double bedrooms, with an en-suite bathroom (WC, sink and shower) in both. The bigger bedroom also has a freestanding bath within the room for a luxurious soak. Towels, cosy robes and bubble bath provided. There's a lovely garden which you're welcome to enjoy during your stay (as is your dog), complete with a table and chairs to eat outside if the weather allows! If you do bring your dog however please pick up after them! You enjoy the whole cottage to yourself - with your own front door and key so you can come and go as you please. I'm very responsive to airbnb messages and texts, so do contact me on either with any questions. I'll always be in touch prior to your arrival to make sure you're clear on check in process and directions. We'll be there regularly during your stay for anything you need and recommendations, but there's also a folder full of information in the cottage. The Old Barn is situated in the lovely village of Great Chart with two fantastic pubs just a minutes walk away. It's surrounded by wonderful countryside, historic buildings, great shopping, brilliant beaches, great places to eat & vineyards aplenty. Great Chart is less than 10 minutes drive from Ashford International Train Station where there’s usually plenty of taxis available. Trains leave approximately every half an hour to and from London St Pancras and take just 37 minutes (there are slower trains to other London stations too). You can also board a train at Ashford to Paris, which takes only 2 hours. The village is 10 minutes from the M20, there is parking for one car at the cottage, and plenty more free parking on the Street. We are also 30 minutes drive to Folkestone which is just a 35 minute channel crossing to Calais, and 45 minutes to Dover where the ferry departs for there also, so the perfect location if you’re breaking up the drive to France! There is free and very quick wifi available throughout the property. Our standard check in time is anytime after 4pm, and check out is by 10am on the day you leave. If you'd like to check in earlier or check out later, this is sometimes possible, but there is an additional fee of £10 per check in/out which is payable in cash on arrival. Sadly we can't always offer early check in or late check out, so please contact me to confirm availability. All early check ins or late check outs have to be agreed with me prior to arrival. Only a short walk from the famous harbour and beaches of this boho seaside town and only an 8 minute walk from the station with direct services to London and Canterbury.

Then head out on a short walk round the bay into the vibrant Old Town to explore the antique shops, galleries and cafés. Invite friends over for dinner to watch the sun go down and end the day with a relaxing soak in the bath before climbing into bed to sleep on crisp white sheets.

Traditional terraced house converted into a stylish one bedroom home that is yours exclusively. It is an ideal home for a couple looking for a restorative break by the seaside. We live here part time so it is fully equipped and the amenities are all available for you to use, including beach kit. Please note that we have a strict adults only policy and that the maximum number of adults is 2. We love animals, but unfortunately we also have a ‘no pets’ policy as well.

Acorn Lodge @ The Oaks Retreat

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. It is The Oaks Retreat, WINNER of the Paris Design awards 2024 'best hospitality interior', an architecturally inspired bespoke woodland Airbnb located in the seaside town of Whitstable. The Acorn Lodge is a bespoke 1 king size bedroom retreat fully customized with high-end finishes. It must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Our Wellness area is equipped with a log sauna, a cold plunge and outdoor shower.

14th-Century House in Rye's Historic Citadel

Hucksteps is a medieval, 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house centrally located in the Citadel of Rye. Facing St Mary’s Church, the house is surrounded by cobbled streets, period architecture, literary associations, stunning coastline, and vibrant culture. Camber's sandy beaches and dunes are an easy walk/cycle/drive away. A High Street full of independent shops, restaurants, inns, art galleries, Kino cinema, Rye Spa Retreat, tea rooms are round the cobbly corner.

Old Smock Windmill in rural Kent

Old Smock Mill is a romantic place for couples. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and relaxing. Everything is designed to unwind you from the moment you walk in. It is surrounded by the lovely Kent countryside where you can ramble and refresh yourselves by perhaps ending the day in one of the great pubs cosy by a log fire in Winter or in Summer in an English garden. Guests have said how hard it is to tear themselves away, it truly is a treasure to find.

The Granary, Organic Vineyard stay with Pool.

Coes Farm offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room which is resident in our Micro-Winery! We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.

The Yard Rye

The Yard is a two-bed interior-designed cottage in the citadel of the beautiful Cinque Port town of Rye. It is situated down a cobbled passageway next to a pretty tea room. PLEASE NOTE – The property can sleep up to two adults in the master bedroom and one child in the single, with a pull-out camp bed if needed for an extra child. We also have a travel cot for an infant. Please be aware we have a steep staircase.

The Clock House - a haven of tranquility!

In a rural setting, this beautiful converted property is surrounded by countryside and orchards. It sits in its own grounds of our house offering a haven of tranquility, but close to the village of Marden with a rail connection to London and just 20 mins from Tunbridge Wells with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Nearby attractions include Bewl Water, Bedgebury Pinetum and Hush Heath Vineyard.
