Welcome to the Cottage at Doonagore Castle. Nestled alongside one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks, Doonagore Castle Cottage has been painstakingly renovated by the castle’s owners, merging authentic 300-year-old features with modern amenities, to offer guests a unique vacation experience. Doolin village, famous for its music and culinary delights, is a ten-minute walk away, the dramatic not-to-be-missed cliffs of Moher a short drive, and a spectacular 14th century castle right next door.

With beaches, mountains, cycle and walking routes within easy reach, as well as local kayaking, there's something for everyone. The house comprises of two double rooms with one ensuite. A cosy living room with a wood burning stove and a spacious kitchen/diner. Oil-fired central heating throughout. An outside area to sit and enjoy the views.

This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.
