My place has been a century-old traditional inn and recently renovated into a spacious Kyo-Machiya style inn named "KINKAKU-RO", where you can feel both traditional and modern sense, officially licensed by the local government. It is located at a quiet residential area in the north part of Kyoto within a walking distance from the famous tourist attractions such as Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and Kitano Temmangu. Five free rental bicycles allow you to have an easy access to other nice spots.

Located in the heart of Kyoto, we are 7-minute walk from the Imperial Palace and Imadegawa Station (K06), with Kyoto Station 10 minutes away by subway. We offer four bicycles free of charge for you to explore the charming backstreets that buses cannot reach. Additionally, for long stay guests , we provide a complimentary shuttle service to or from Kyoto Station upon request.

Nearby there is the Kamigamo-shrine and Shimogamo-shrine,which are both world heritage. And you can get to the famous Kinkaku-ji(world heritage) by bycycle within 30 minutes. If you want to go to the Daitoku-ji or Imamiya-shrine,You can walk there about 15 minutes.Also you can enjoy Kamo-riverside walk with easy access. Our guesthouse rocated in the shopping street,which has many shops and restaurants. So you could enjoy shopping and eating out there.

There are wooden deck besides living space, you will have relaxing time at the wooden deck with garden view. Electric bikes are rent for free. 'SAIGU' is a distinctly quaint 120-year-old Kyoto Machiya in the north-west area of Kyoto city. In 2010, the house was carefully and lovingly restored to its original beautiful style. It has four bedrooms so can accommodate 4 people comfortably, or 8 people max. The house is about 92 square meters.
