River trails right out the door for walking, fishing, kayaking. Great spot for foraging, wildlife sitings and star gazing. Furnished kitchen, BBQ on the deck, super comfy bed. Our well is spring fed and glacial. It gets dark and quiet at night. Come reconnect.

Hello and welcome to Shellrock Cabin, part of the Nelson Creek Cabin vacation rentals! Our property is nestled on 2 quiet acres with views of the Columbia River and surrounding Cascade mountains. Skamania Lodge, Bridge of the Gods, Mt. Hood, Dog Mountain, Multnomah Falls, White Salmon, Hood River and Portland are just a few close destinations. Plenty of parking for boats and RV's. Shellrock cabin is a comfortable place where you can escape, relax and unwind in this beautiful setting.

We are nestled in the woods within a stone's throw of the stunning White Salmon River. Our cabin dates to the 1920s (one of the oldest in the area but we recently updated it). 4 people max. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (one queen and one full size bed are available). A couple with one or two kids works okay too. What doesn’t work great are 4 adults who sleep separately since that means using the pull out couches downstairs. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.

Our cozy 1 bedroom (queen bed) cabin is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape. Located on 26 acres where deer and turkey roam. Just a few minutes away from I-84 and Hood River. Please be aware that a 4WD vehicle may be required for accessing the property during the snowy season of December, January and February. It's the perfect place to get out of the city and disconnect in nature, or to use as your base for all the PNW adventures. It's a quick 30 min drive to Mount hood or the entrance to the Colombia Gorge, and only 45 min from PDX Airport.
