In Mount Vernon, 15minutes away there is Hiawatha Waterpark. There is a fee. Family Reunions are Welcome. Great place to get away, read a book, sit by a fire and relax

Fish in the pond or grill out and picnic. Paddleboat and canoe available. Some fishing equipment supplied. Very convenient location but quiet and peaceful.

This cabin was built in the late 1800's. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed, one with a full size bed. There are two couches in the living room, one is a pull-out bed. All towels and linens are included. The bath has an efficiency-size bathtub-and the laundry room has full-size washer and dryer. Cell phone reception is spotty and internet reception is almost non-existent, hence there is no internet service/wifi. The TV has a digital antennae which offers a small amount of channels.

This rustic 2-bedroom cabin is conveniently located on large private pond just outside the city limits of Mt. Vernon with shopping, dining, brewery and entertainment. We are pet friendly (additional $50 per stay, max 2 pets) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.
