Maybe go for a stroll on your way to coffee or hit up the two walkable grocery stores or explore our beautiful trails, lakes, high desert scapes and mountains. Located 1/4 mile from the main house on the Meyers Ranch, it is private and did we mention the view?

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.
