The star gazing is amazing. We come up regularly between renters and are completely involved with the upkeep of the house and grounds. The house is just a short drive from Kelseyville and the town of Lakeport. Just minutes from the lake and area wineries. Walking distance to The Mercantile tasting room!

Starling's Rest (4bd/2ba) is located in northern Alexander Valley, Cloverdale/Asti and sits on eight acres of hillside overlooking Alexander Valley's vineyards and redwoods. The property stretches from valley floor to a ridge, sandwiched between vineyards, and offers dramatic views clear across the valley and features an in ground solar heated pool (Solar is turned off November through April). A large outdoor deck with hot tub and propane grill and play area on a beautiful green lawn.

This is a cozy guestroom attached to the garage on our stunning half-acre lakefront, tree-studded property. The bedroom (double bed) and bath are quite small (not room for much luggage), but perfect for a few nights stay. We have two chairs and a little table set up right outside, and there are other relaxing spots. Check-in time is normally 3:00, but can be earlier with prior approval. We also rent out our house on occasion. They are 2 separate places non attached.
