Weaver's Landing

We offer one of the area’s only PRIVATE lake retreats. Come and enjoy a getaway in our peaceful lake community! The Town of Lake Waccamaw was incorporated in 1911, however, was inhabited by Native Americans for thousands of years. Southeastern North Carolina was covered by a shallow ocean more than two million years ago and you might find interesting fossils including sharks teeth, shells and coral as you swim in the shallow water. Be sure to visit Lake Waccamaw State Park to view the 2.75 million year old whale skull that was discovered embedded in a limestone outcropping several years ago. Measuring nearly 9,000 acres, the lake is unique in many ways ecologically with several endemic species of fish and mollusks (found nowhere else in the world).The lake is about 10 feet at the deepest with shallow waters along its shores, making it perfect for families with children. Tourist attractions include a local museum in a 1904 train depot, Lake Waccamaw State Park, our beautiful library, several restaurants, grocery and retail stores. The guest house is totally private from our home and features a vintage lake theme queen bedroom with flat screen television (Direct TV and DVD player), en suite bathroom with shower. All bed and bath linens are furnished. The common area/living room has a flat screen television (Direct TV and DVD player), a variety of movies, books and magazines, toys and board games for all ages. The fully equipped kitchen has a nice size refrigerator with a separate freezer, electric coffee pot or French press, microwave, and electric stove. A variety of cookware and utensils are available for your use as well as kitchen staple items. A washer and dryer is available in the garage below the apartment. We provide a few basic breakfast items for your first morning. There is a grocery store nearby for most anything else you would need. The living room couch/futon converts to a very comfortable full size bed. There is a large desk for our business clients and free WiFi. Other furnishings include a table with four chairs, rocking chair and leather recliner. Guests have access to an outdoor kitchen with a gas stove, and a double sink. You may use the charcoal or gas grill, enjoy the fire pit (wood provided), several bicycles, and two kayaks. We also have corn hole boards and other yard games you may use. Sorry, we are not able to accommodate your pets, but can recommend a delightful getaway for them. Although our log cabin isn’t on the lake front, it is just steps (the length of a football field!) from your apartment. You may use the pier for sunning, swimming, launching a kayak, fishing, relaxing or picnicking under the shaded canopy. Lake Waccamaw is conveniently located one hour from many beaches in Wilmington, N.C. and one hour from Myrtle Beach, S.C. We personally recommend Sunset Beach, which is about an hour.l

Haven By The Lake

Beautiful quiet Wilmington home located half a block from Greenfield Lake. This relaxing retreat allows you to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and realign your compass. Birds will sing good morning and in the evenings you can stroll down to the Greenfield Lake walking path, or you can simply enjoy lounging in the backyard on the shaded deck. The home has open floor plan and features a piano that can be used upon request. Also, located minutes from Historic downtown Wilmington.

Oceanfront Condo, Sunset Views

Relax on the wrap around balcony of this 4th floor SeaWatch beachfront condo. Enjoy beautiful views of the sea and sunsets. Take a dip in one of the 7 sparkling pools, 11 hot tubs or play in the lazy rivers. Sip a beverage at the tiki hut or grab a delicious meal at our onsite restaurant. Just a short walk from the Apache Pier to the south, and undeveloped pristine beaches to the north. Golf at nearby Arcadian Shores or any of the many local courses. Nearby Tanger Outlet is a shopper’s delight.

Shane's Sea Trail Single

Sunset Beach condo at Sea Trail. On the golf course and minutes from the beach, we offer 1 full bedroom(with a king size in the master). And a fold out couch in living room for 2 children or 1 adult( would be close sleep for 2 adults). Everything you need from grocery to local night life and restaurants within 2 miles. Also, across the street from Sea Trail rec center(daily/weekend/weekly passes must be purchased for use of pool and hottubs). Fully furnished, it is perfect for family get-a-ways

Lake House - Recently Remodeled, Centrally Located

An awesome newly remodeled stand alone 2-story house located on Greenfield Lake and a stroll down from the Amphitheater. Near the Independence Mall Shopping Area and two miles from the vibrant Historical Downtown with music and dining choices. A scenic 4.5 mile paved walking or jogging trail runs by the Lake House and circles the lake. You are 30 minutes away from our two beautiful beaches. There are lots of sights and attractions nearby, but you are located in a place of peace and quiet.

Lakefront Retreat Nature Escape

Welcome to the Little Blue Heron! Relax and restore, or get your creative juices flowing at this nature sanctuary. Lake front cottage at Lake Waccamaw with canal views in the back. Great for wading, boating, or swimming in the summer and bird watching and soaking up the peaceful views in the winter. Watch the sun rise over the lake from the King bed in the master bedroom! Perfect for artists, those looking to reflect or re-connect, or short getaways. Up to 2 dogs allowed, woof! ($50 fee)

Totally Beaching - Unit #2

Totally Beaching - Unit #2 is one of 4 spacious condos located a block from the beach & 2 blocks from the fishing pier in the heart of historic Cherry Grove. Each unit is 900sf with 2 bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen and living room with front and rear porch access. The rear porch overlooks a natural pond teeming with wading birds and other wildlife. Guests are provided the essentials: bed linens, towels/bath clothes, cookware, and keurig coffee maker. Unit #2 is on the 2nd level right.

Sweet Retreat

A great place for relaxation, enjoy some alone time or family time. Some new updates have recently been done to the Living room, Dining/Sun Porch area the lake view from inside the house is even better than before! There are two different shelters on the pier where you can relax and enjoy the sunsets. You are driving distance from the state park where you can enjoy hiking. There are several spots around the lake for good fishing. Grocery store, variety store and gas station are near by.
