Welcome and enjoy our picturesque cabin nestled in the beautiful meadows of the two highest peaks in Colorado! Where you can hike the highest 14ers! Fish the gold medal water, that are only 100' away. You're just minutes from Turquoise and Twin Lakes, where you can fish, boat, or enjoy all the water sporting activities the lakes have to offer. If you're a hunter, you're in the prime location. Skiing!!! But if you want to relax and enjoy the scenery, you couldn't have picked a better place!

Experience the charm of The Triangle Cabin, a cozy A-frame retreat offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Colorado mountains. Just 1.5hrs from Denver, this inviting hideaway provides a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Thoughtfully appointed, the cabin features a hot tub with epic views, cozy fire-pit, a fully equipped kitchen and an array of games and books to encourage you to unwind and disconnect. AWD or 4WD will be required to access The Triangle from Sept 1st-May 31st

Grandpa's House

Walking distance to downtown, this is the perfect home for your mountain experience. The front section of this house was rolled down on logs by my grandfather from the East side of Leadville's historic mining district. From there it was built it into a two bedroom house which is now fully renovated for you to enjoy your mountain stay. Enjoy things nearby such as the Mineral Belt Trail, easy access to hiking and biking trials, and a short drive to Turquoise Lake, Twin Lakes, and Ski Cooper.

Carner’s Cabin - backcountry hut

A secluded cabin in a high alpine environment at 11,700 feet! Truly off-grid, without electricity, running water, NO WiFi. Beautifully furnished with fabulous furniture and wonderful beds to sleep 8. Just bring a sleeping bag & pillow case! WINTER ACCESS: By ski/skin, snowshoe or snowmobile only. 2 miles and 1000 foot gain to cabin. Takes approximately 3 hours on rolling and steep terrain. SUMMER ACCESS: By high-clearance, 4x4 vehicle and requires low gears (rental SUV not recommended).

Just 1.5 blocks to town w/shops, restaurants, bars, & mining history galore. Great hiking, biking, skiing, hunting, & sledding, including Mineral Belt trail, plus fishing, boating, beaches, at Turquoise Lake (5 mi.). Ski Cooper (downhill, XC ski & snowshoeing) 10 minutes from front door. Laid back locale compared to big resorts & more affordable too, esp. for families. Late summer & fall great for conquering four 14k ft peaks nearby: Elbert, Massive, Harvard & Yale. Dog friendly.

We are a block off downtown and just a short walk to all the great restaurants. The mountain views of White River National Forest off the deck in the back are AMAZING! 15 minutes to Ski Cooper and 25 minutes to Copper. Lots of toys and board games for the kids and a charcoal grill in the back for summer time grilling! 4K TV, 100 Mbps Internet with WiFi, tons of DVDs, XBox, Satellite TV and Apple TV in two rooms w/access to Netflix, HBO, Prime Video, Hulu, ESPN+ and other apps.

Our cabin is one of a kind. Isolated with easy access, it is located outside Leadville-10,200 feet, between the Sawatch and Mosquito ranges, with stunning views of both. Licensed through the Land County Land Use License #2025-P12, allowing 4 guests only. Please DO NOT bring additional guests. No cleaning fee. Winter guests: Easy access to town. The county plows the road, still we recommend AWD or 4WD for all winter travel. Please read “other things to note” before booking.
