The Puffball Lodge Woodland Cabin in East Sussex

If you fancy venturing out there are two great pubs serving excellent food within walking distance and this is a great spot from which to explore all that East Sussex and Kent have to offer.

Caburn Cabin is in Firle Village in the South Downs national park. Our spacious timber cabin sleeps up to four people. It has a warm rustic charm whilst being fully equipped with modern facilities. There is a rear private deck with seating. Ideal for romantic escapes or active holidays. Enjoy the outdoors by foot & bike direct from the cabin. The local pub & village shop are just 10 minutes walk. Perfect for Glyndebourne, Charleston & Firle weddings or explore nearby towns of Lewes or Brighton.

Tom’s Lodge, named after my late father who was a carpenter, is a wooden cabin situated on a small working farm in the heart of East Sussex in the picturesque village of Piltdown. It is located off a country lane so is very peaceful & surrounded by countryside for many different walks & the renowned Piltdown Golf Club is only a stone's throw away. The view from the lodge overlooks the farm and surrounding fields, providing a perfect backdrop to savour your morning coffee on your private patio.

Goldcrest Lodge Wadhurst

Goldcrest Lodge is a peaceful hideaway within secluded woods on the 140 acre historic estate of Wadhurst Castle. It is designed to blend in to its woodland setting, yet is bright and spacious with modern luxuries - perfect for a romantic break, a restful escape or for reconnecting with nature. It has a double bedroom (5' bed) with huge picture window, a central main room with sofa bed leading to a kitchen area and separate shower room beyond. Decking and private screened bath. Riverbank Retreat is a cosy unique wooden cabin nestled on the riverbank of the River Adur. It is situated in the country's smallest RSPB bird reserve and is the perfect place to get away and relax. The cabin is fully self contained and guests will have all they need to enjoy their stay! On your doorstep you will find the ever changing scenery of the river estuary, the wildlife, walks in the South Downs. The picturesque town of Shoreham by Sea is nearby, and the beach is a 1 minute walk away.

It beautifully retains the charm and elegance of the surroundings while offering modern amenities to our guests. Located 5 miles from Lewes, quietly sitting in the grounds of our 120 year old cottage and within curtilage of the impressive and historic Laughton Place tower. Little Hawthorn is situated 1 mile from the nearest main road, with access via an unmade, rustic farm track.

The Old Stables is a completely self-contained detached building with its own parking space, in the village of Buxted. The Old Stables benefits from sitting on the edge of a wild meadow where guests are welcome to take a stroll or enjoy the wildlife and peaceful birdsong. There are two pubs, a shop and train station within a 5 minute walk. Set within the boundaries of Ashdown Forest there are numerous lovely walks on the doorstep and the town of Uckfield is a short drive away.

Welcome to The Forest Den which has just been beautifully renovated offering a chic rural retreat. Forest Den is probably the closest accommodation to Pooh sticks bridge and set in the Heart of the Ashdown Forest with direct access into the famous 100 Acre Wood from AA Milne's Winnie the Pooh! Forest Den is a super cosy rural retreat offering a get away from it all lodge at the same time as offering all the creature comforts for a break.
