Walks and cycle paths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

For cyclists there are great road routes or if you are more of a mountain biker we are 15mins drive from Oneplanet Adventure. Offa’s Dyke path is a short walk from the cottage, alternatively the village's community pub & shop is a 15min walk. Birdwatchers love watching for Kingfishers on our deck which overlooks the river Alyn.

We are a 10 minute walk from the town centre which is buzzing with activity all year round and full of great pubs, eateries and shops. We are also located opposite the famous Llangollen Pavilion which hosts the annual musical Eisteddfod. It is a wonderful place to stay whether you like walking, fishing, water sports, steam trains or simply relaxing.

Sit with a drink on the decking, or in front of the little log burner, and watch the sunset over the mountains, or the snow sweeping in along the valley. Just 14 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep up to three people (plus infant) by using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Cottage is fully equipped with travel cot/high chair if required. A perfect base to explore North Wales & Chester.
