Stargazers apartment, one of two houses down a private drive. A peaceful, picturesque location. No noise or light pollution and the darkest skies in Europe. Enjoy the whole top floor with open plan lounge/kitchen and historical bookcases. Bedroom with roll top bath, king size bed, ensuite bathroom. It's a fabulous space! Buzzard Cottage nestled in a hillside farm

Buzzard is a cosy, dog-friendly barn conversion with original stone walls, a wood-burning fire, and a luxurious wood-fired hot tub, perfect for couples, or a family with children over 5 yrs. From the farm, enjoy beautiful views of the Menteith Hills and the Lake of Menteith, and stunning walks right from your door. After a day of hiking, cycling, or exploring, unwind in the hot tub or by the fire. You can order a delicious meal from us and meet the cows as part of our Coos and Views Experience!

Romantic Medieval Castle

Barns Tower is an authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

Stunning Studio with Outdoor Hot Tub

Our beautiful studio with spacious Hot Tub is close to Edinburgh Airport and only 5 miles from the West End. Perfect for enjoying all that Edinburgh offers, but with the peace and quiet of a rural location. Own transport is recommended but public transport is nearby so leaving the car and hopping a bus/tram into town is easy. Guests staying without own transport are likely best to rely on local taxi services of which there are several including UBER. Plenty countryside walking available also.

It is equipped with a super king sized bed and extra sofa bed. Come and enjoy the countryside with the wildlife on your doorstep as well as the huge range of activities available nearby. Relax and unwind in front of the open fire.For the sightseers it’s only a 30 minute drive into the centre of Edinburgh.

Shiel House, Rumbling Bridge

Set in 3 acres of gardens and with beautiful views of the valley, Shiel House is the perfect retreat. This bespoke house was built by our family to provide an escape from the city and it has been furnished to provide a comfortable home from home. It would suit solo adventurers, couples, families (including with kids), and groups. Centrally located, and only an hour's drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and St Andrews, it is the ideal base for golfers, walkers and visitors to Scotland.

Built in the 1700s the Gardener's House is set into the old Walled Garden in the stunning grounds of Arniston House, a William Adam Stately Home. A secluded, picturesque two storey house with wood burning stove for winter or glass patio doors that open onto the walled garden for summer. An 11 mile trip to Edinburgh’s first class art galleries and museums, the capital’s eclectic mix of restaurants and bars plus its boutique shopping experience all adds up to a great day out.

Lammer Cottage @ Carfrae Farm

A spacious country cottage with free parking, private hot tub, garden. There is a garden sauna for use by guests on the grounds. A beautiful rural location on Carfrae Farm in East Lothian. There is the award winning licensed Carfrae Farm Shop on site which includes a huge range of local products. A lovely welcome hamper provided in the cottage on arrival. The perfect location to relax and explore the wide open spaces of the countryside. 4 Star Rating from Visit Scotland.

Abbeymill Farm Cottage (EL00062F)

Beautiful, quaint 16th century cottage, lovingly restored as a dedicated holiday cottage. Located in the heart of an old farm guests can enjoy peace and quiet, beautiful views and owners on site. The cottage has benefited from a complete refurb in 2020 and an enclosed private garden. We sit directly on the river bank and walkway to Haddington and East Linton and a bus link directly into Edinburgh in 45 mins. We are around 15mins drive to the coast and North Berwick.

Stylishly converted Bothy by River Earn

The Bothy is stylishly converted from two jold stone farm cottages into a luxurious 2 bedroom cottage. The decor is a mix between birch ply panelling and polished cement, giving it a modern Scandi/Scottish feel, yet not losing its original charm and farm history. Some of the furniture has been made from beech and cedar from our farm. With view across the River Earn and surrounding hills, this is a perfect place to come, explore, unwind and relax.
