A casa resulta da recuperação de uma antiga arrecadação onde estava uma das cisternas que abastecia o monte. Houve um grande respeito pela arquitectura tradicional, tendo sido mantida toda a traça original da casa. A decoração é sóbria, mas com pequenos apontamentos de "vintage", onde se conjugam moveis restaurados com peças mais contemporâneas.
