The Gumbo Getaway is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin with a king bed and a full sofa sleeper in the living room. Our cabin was built in 2021. We welcome our guests to come enjoy our cozy spot in the hill country with the convenience of staying only 15 mins from Main Street in Fredericksburg. **Guests are permitted to walk the road starting at the cattle guard entrance and ending at The Lagniappe Lodge. (The LL has a big rock sign out front.) Do not walk past the Lagniappe Lodge.**

We are located on Mount Alamo just outside of Fredericksburg. Just 15 miles from Main St. in Fredericksburg and the 290 Wine Road. Fifteen minutes from the famous town of Luckenbach and just "up the road" from Old Tunnel State Park (also known as The Bat Tunnel).
