Painted Rock sits perched on a quaint spit of ledge rock, halfway between Lutsen and Grand Marais, on the edge of Cascade State Park. This historic log cabin has been lovingly restored to retain all its original charm and history, while updated with all the luxury amenities. A large Main Room is home to a wood-burning fireplace, dining table, game table, and picture windows that bring the Big Lake indoors in all seasons. A bathroom with a deep soaker tub and heated floors adds spa-like comfort.

The Lena Dome (5 min to Grand Marais)

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Directly on the Pincushion Trail System (which links to the Superior Hiking Trail) you'll find endless hiking options right outside your door. The Lena dome is 5 minutes from downtown Grand Marais where you can eat at amazing restaurants, hear great live music, enjoy time by Lake Superior, and explore beautifully curated local shops. This is the End Upper-Loft on the quiet West Wing at Chateau LeVeaux between Tofte and Lutsen. Open design, air-conditioned, with views to both the Lake and the woods from the main floor and loft master bedroom. There is a separate entrance just steps from your door. Stay as private as you wish or visit the pools and sauna. Complete kitchen. Outdoors and very nearby is a fire-pit and grill with a staircase down to the Lake. Couples and young families find this an ideal place to get away.
