This home is a short 5-minute drive from a popular surf spot (Crescent Beach), miles of hiking trails (Salt Creek Recreation Area), & epic tide-pooling. Yet, it is just 20 minutes west of downtown Port Angeles - far enough to feel “away from it all,” but close enough to enjoy the town’s amenities.

TOTAL PRIVACY.....small, fully furnished Park Model guest house with an electric fireplace, a TV in the bedroom( queen size bed) as well as a TV in the living room, a small Charcoal Bar-B-Que available, on a 5 acre area across the drive way from a private home , 5 miles from downtown Port Angeles. Beautiful landscaping with a trout pond, large yard, in season berries on the bushes, produce in the garden, fresh eggs in the chicken coop and catch and release trout fishing.

This hillside getaway was created from a culvert and planted into the side of a hill, nestled among trees and forest flora. Low voltage lighting, propane on demand hot water, cook top and heater. The view overlooks a pond, the valley below with Mt. Baldy in the background. An outdoor shower also has an awesome view! This countryside glamping site is near the ONP, Discovery trail, and Port Angeles.

Guests say our space is “beautiful, peaceful and clean.” You may hear some light noise transfer or see others guests (or our family) on the property. Be aware that the Roost is located on the top floor (up 2 flights of stairs). Our favorite restaurants, hiking, biking, kayaking and beach access spots are all within a 30 minute drive. River House is a 2672sf home on a high bank above the Elwha River across from the Olympic National Park. A deck with a barbeque and a hot tub has views of the River and mountains. The clean air of the Olympics makes for brilliant stars in the deep blue night sky.
