Ancestral home was rebuilt after being bombed during 2nd WW in 1947 and recent restoration started in 2007 to provide homely ambience to guests. Home is in the heart of city, ideal to try out restaurants offering local & vegetarian food at walking distance including taxi/bus stands. Asia's only women's market IMA Market, the historic Shamu Makhong, the statue of the then Maharaja Bhagyachandra & Kangla Fort, the sacred place to learn the rich heritage and culture of Manipur are very closeby.

An independent cottage with a front-lawn. My cottage has two bedrooms & one sitting-room. Out of the two bedrooms, one is available for Air-BnB customers. Cottage is 200 m from the National highway & is near to grocery /medical shops. The govt. hospital is less than 100 m away. Kitchen has LPG connection, running tap, fridge, geyser, microwave and house has inverter back-up. You can take early morning walks to Mission compound area (2 kms) or short treks to Lungphou village (4-5 kms).

Guests can use the three common baths with hot water, one kitchen space, one dining space and common area with plenty of books to read. No TV. Wi-Fi only. The lawn with food garden & little pond is open guests. Ask if you want to help in the food garden. If you are sharing a room with a stranger, you might need to make adjustments.
