Cozy Cabin - Trails Galore

This cozy cabin is located in Crawford County, Michigan, known for its military & State owned land. 60% of the county is available for recreation including ORV and snowmobile trails, XC skiing, kayaking, biking and hiking. The cabin is surrounded by ORV and snowmobile trails. It is centrally located in the northern part of the lower peninsula for easy day trips to areas such as Mackinac Island and Traverse City. Higgins lake, with a small beautiful beach is just a 5 minute drive from the cabin.

Shady Valley Cabins: 3 cabins, and our spacious 4 bedroom apartment are now available to rent at this Houghton Lake family resort. Our two lakefront cabins are 3 bedrooms our lakeside cabin is a 4 bedroom unit, each with full kitchen, bathroom and living/dining area. The 4 bedroom spacious apartment, full kitchen, 1 & 1/2 bathrooms and large living room/dining area. Starting again in May 2027 this listing will also include a cute 2 bedroom apartment. Cabin 3 is occupied by our cleaning staff

The beach is sandy with no sea wall & perfect for swimming! The beach and dock are shared with 3 other cabins. Rustic Log Cabin known as the Snowshoe Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place in the north woods. Cabin has 2 twin size beds in the loft and a full size bed on main floor. Includes Kitchen table and chairs and a kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, toaster and a crockpot. There is a bathhouse on site with hot showers and bathrooms. Close to ATV/Snowmobile Trails and you can ride from your site. You will need to provide your own bedding, pillows, towels, cooking utensils and shower items

Originally built in 1995, this a-frame lodge was once a rustic hunting and fishing cabin. It lived many years as a seasonal property before evolving into what you see today. It sits amongst 5 peaceful acres of towering maple trees. We invite you to detach, slow down, rest, explore, create and enjoy each other’s company.
