Roaring Fork Chalet Long Range Views Mt Mitchell

The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views as the chalet elevation is 3,383 feet (Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink and rejuvenate your soul. NO four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet EXCEPT possibly in the winter months. The mountain roads are curvy and the subdivision is steep in parts but ALL the roads are paved and well maintained. Dog accepted w/ prior approval (fee applies).

Reconnect with your roots off-grid in our locally handcrafted yurt just 3 mins from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Wake up on 60 secluded acres to the sun pouring through the canopy, and sip your coffee as the sun awakens the mountains. Take a morning walk on your own wooded trail to the waterfall before heading out to explore Crabtree or Linville Falls.
