Surf Sanctuary Retreat and Sauna: Beach & Redwoods

The Surf Sanctuary retreat is minutes away from remote beaches and redwoods. Please note: Redwood Park is 30 minutes away. The sanctuary is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen and bathroom. We are located within a 5 minute drive to the beach, and 30 minutes away from Redwood State and National Parks. Perfect launch location for hiking, surfing, cycling and enjoying this amazing place. Enjoy our beautiful quiet space for relaxation and renewal. The space is shoe and scent free.

An Architects Studio- In a Secluded Forest

This incredible space has been the inspirational hub for designing the most creative projects in Humboldt during the past 18 years. Now it has been reborn as an immersive space to enjoy the redwoods. Every inch has been thoughtfully designed to allow our guests to feel the enveloping majestic nature of the surrounding forest. Upon arrival, a golf cart awaits for your journey through the woods, to the upper landing of the raised boardwalk crossing over a seasonal creek bringing you to The Studio.

Sunset Farmhouse with Ocean View, Great Location!

The perfect home base for exploring the North Coast, this quiet and peaceful farmhouse was originally built in 1914. Ocean view from the backyard and main bedroom. Located on a large, pastoral lot in one of the most desirable areas of Trinidad. This adorable house has been completely remodeled and now has all the modern conveniences. A few minutes walk to College Cove and Trinidad State parks to the south as well as a "secret" beach located at Martin Creek trail just to the north. Close to town.

Located on a picturesque bluff above Trinidad State Beach, this home has an incredible unobstructed ocean view. Featuring a hot tub for 6 people, a deck overlooking the magnificent ocean, and beautiful back yard to complement the setting. Trinidad State Park directly borders this home to the North, so you're right at the edge of great walking trails. Grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. are all within walking distance. Charming in every way, this ocean view property invites you to spend mornings on the patio, days exploring the plethora of natural amenities that our area offers, and your evenings on our western-facing deck watching the sunset with a wine glass in hand. Extra clean, with an abundance of natural light, and a fully-equipped kitchen with everything that you would need for a short or a long-term stay. This unit in our duplex also contains a bonus room with a queen pullout bed that sleeps two.

On the Hammond Coastal Trail, cozy eco-friendly bedroom suite with expanded kitchenette, full bath, private entry, deck, yard, off-street parking. Set back hidden from the road in a bamboo oasis, it’s private and peaceful. Walk or bike to nearby river, beaches, forest. Or hop on the Highway 1/3 mile away. 3.5 miles to Airport, 30 to Redwood National & State Parks. We’ll share walls so you’ll sometimes hear me, though I try to be a considerate neighbor. Your comfort is very important to me!

Safe and quite family style home located in the quaint city of Arcata Ca. Approximately, 2 1/2 miles from the historic Arcata Plaza where you will find excellent local restaurants, a variety of grocery stores, movie theater, live entertainment and farmers market every Saturday morning. Arcata community forest and Cal Poly Humboldt is an easy five-minute drive. A short ten-minute drive west through the scenic pasture lands of the Arcata bottoms you will arrive at the Mad River beach.

Excellent location with views of the redwood forest. Our bungalow is fully equipped. Come home with your farmer's market bounty and make use of the well-stocked kitchen or balcony grill. Get cozy in the living room at the push of a button with the gas fireplace and Smart TV. Sleep soundly on either the king or queen-sized bed. If you have extra people I can provide an air mattress. Walk from your door to Cal Poly Humboldt, the Arcata Plaza, and Shay Park. A wonderful home base.
