Route 66 Railroad Shanty, a cozy artsy small space

This 536 s.f. house, believed to have once been a sleeping shanty for railroad crews switching shifts for the night. Fully renovated and updated in 2021 by a local artist, you will find custom metal art throughout, granite countertops and a very warm cabin feel featuring a kitchen and bathroom finished with locally sourced Missouri dark red cedar, 10 minutes from six flags, Purina farms 15 min from hidden valley and 45 min from downtown this place is in a great location and will not disappoint!

This circa 1835 cabin offers easy access to our historic area, including Main Street, Katy Trail for biking, and Frenchtown, without sacrificing modern comforts! This 180-year-old historic cabin sits on a beautiful lot, shared with our 1865 three-story home and a two-story carriage house. Ask about renting bikes and a golf cart!

2 bedroom cabin with queen size beds, full kitchen & bathroom, private hot tub & shared pool (pool is shared between 3 cabins). Price of $135 per night is based on up to 2 people; additional people ages 8 & older $25 extra per person per night. *Hot tub & Pool:we reserve the right to close the hot tub or pool for any mechanical issues that may occur and that is beyond our control. Sassafras Creek Cabin

Historic log cabin circa 1840 moved to property June 2020. Take a step back in time with furniture and decor to match the cabin’s time period. Located between two houses in newly formed Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park. It is a 10 minute walk to the main part of downtown and other historic tour sites. Adjoins Early American gift shop called Sassafras Creek Originals which is housed in the circa 1850 Brooks house. Close to wineries, biking and hiking.

This primitive cabin is a great way to connect with nature, while still being able to retreat indoors at night. Unique space - the loft has a skylight; primitive - has electricity but no running water. You will have amazing lake views and will be close to hiking trails, horseback riding, and wine tasting at Edg Clif Wineries which is next door to us. The newly remodeled shower house has restrooms and hot showers and it is within walking distance.
