Overlook the City's Rooftops at a Bright, Bohemian Haven

In the apartment you will find: - 1 big living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, big working/dining table and a TV, overlooking the rooftops of Ghent - 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, fridge, French press and coffee grinder - 1 bedroom for 2 people (king size bed) overlooking the main street - 1 smaller bedroom with a box spring bed for 2 people and a desk - 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower - separate toilet - utility room with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board, iron and a drying rack The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. A friend or I will welcome you and provide you with keys and a tour of the apartment. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all! Zoek je een plek om écht even te ontsnappen? Maai cabin is jouw cosy hideaway in het groen. Combineer een mooie wandeling/fietstocht of een citybreak met een heerlijke nacht in ons tiny house. Ontwaak met zicht op de bomen, spot spelende eekhoorns en geniet van pure rust met z’n tweeën. Hoewel je midden in het groen logeert, liggen er op wandelafstand verschillende gezellige restaurants. En wil je de dag rustig starten met een ontbijt? Dan kan je een heerlijke ontbijtbox bestellen ter plaatse.

Vanuit ons centraal gelegen appartement ligt het gezellige levendige Gent binnen handbereik. De ligging nét aan Station Gent-Sint-Pieters maakt dat u beschikt over verbindingen met trein, tram, bus en taxi, nét voor de deur (1 min). De gezellige en veilige buurt biedt een 7/7 supermarkt, winkels, bars, restaurants, nachtwinkel (allen op 1 min) en een groen stadspark met speeltuin in de onmiddelijke omgeving. De straat is verkeersarm en dus opvallend rustig. Het appartement biedt alle comfort.

Ontspan en kom tot rust in de landelijke omgeving. Je verblijft in een ruime woning naast de hoeve. De streek is de ideale uitvalbasis voor een wandeling of fietstocht langs schilderachtige dorpjes en de heuvels van de Vlaamse Ardennen. Ook de steden Gent, Ronse, Oudenaarde, Kortrijk,... zijn vlot te bereiken en heel leuk. Geniet ook in alle rust van een stukje privétuin met gratis gebruik van de hottub en 3uren sauna. Vakantieverblijf (of zaken- en studieverblijf) met zicht op bomenrijke en toegankelijke tuin in het centrum van Merelbeke, grenzend aan Gent. Vlot bereikbaar, ook voor fietsers. Winkels, openbaar vervoer en oplaadpunten nabij. Ligging ook ideaal voor uitstapjes in de Scheldevallei of de Vlaamse Ardennen. De slaapkamer heeft een tweepersoonsbed en de woonkamer een slaapbank voor twee. De keuken is uitgerust en de badkamer heeft een ruime douchecabine. Gasten genieten van een privéterras.

Welkom bij Maison Raymond, gelegen in het prachtige Melsen, de ideale uitvalsbasis om de mooie steden van België te bezoeken. Melsen ligt op een boogscheut van Gent en aan de rand van de Vlaamse Ardennen. Een perfecte start voor uitdagende fietstochten en deugddoende wandelingen in de Makegemse bossen of weidse Scheldemeersen. Tijdens de zomermaanden (jun-sept) is in het weekend de zomerbar “Café Raymond” geopend. Geniet er van een lokaal biertje op het terras naast de tuin 🌞🌿
