Welcome to ‘Rosalinda’ - moments from West Mersea beach. A stroll to cafés, pubs and shops in the quaint village of Mersea, this seaside retreat is a home away from home. We also have good WiFi and I often work from home. Please note that this is my home and has personal and eclectic design touches. If you like the idea of a cosy retreat with lots of foraged seashells and a hammock, then this is the perfect place for you. The caravan doesn’t have a tv so this is your chance to digital detox.

Riverside barn with private beach

On the banks of Suffolk's most beautiful river with access to a private sandy beach, Sandlings Barn is a light and spacious traditional Suffolk barn recently converted with striking architectural features, on its own 45-acre estate of rewilded meadows and woodland. Make yourself at home in the barn's huge open plan dining/living room, enjoy the log burning stove, high quality mattresses and freshly ironed Egyptian cotton sheets. Just 10 minutes drive to the busy market town of Woodbridge.

3 Bed Caravan on the Seafront in Mersea Island. Open plan lounge, dining room & equipped kitchen make for perfect family & friends time. Patio doors lead onto large gated decking area with views of the sea to sit and relax on. One Double (ensuite) and two twin rooms. Separate large bathroom. Parking for two cars at side of the property. The site amenities include; pool, minigolf, restaurant, shops, clubhouse, playpark, fishing/boating lakes, and of course the white sandy/pebble beach.

Cottage on the beach

With its own beachside garden and breathtaking uninterrupted views of the wildest of Essex creeks and marshes, the cottage is only to be reached on foot atop a sea wall. The perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The last in a row of westerly facing cottages, perfect to watch the evening sun go down . From the front garden or even laying in bed, watch the tide slip in and out, the fishing boats come and go and live, for a while, in a world moving at a slower pace.

The Studio

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway 500 yards from the lovely sandy beaches of Frinton-On-Sea. This location is on the high street close to everything. It is highly appointed with Fine Quality Danish Furniture, Danish Lighting and more items from Great Danes (our shop below the flat) We aim for it to be a showroom and are looking for guests that appreciate quality. The Studio is available for up to 2 people (sharing 1 bed) that can climb the 20 Steep Steps to the flat.

Bijou cabin next to the sea

The cabin lies in the grounds of the hosts main dwelling which is situated within 200 yards of Frinton's spectacular greensward and beautiful sandy beaches. The cabin is within a very leisurely 10-15 mins walk to the facilities of both Frinton and Walton where there is an abundance of shops, cafes, eating establishments and entertainment. Further afield and depending on your interests there are many other outstanding places to visit which I'd be only too happy to discuss with you.

Waterfront self-contained apartment for couples or business travellers in a prime position on Felixstowe seafront. Your apartment occupies the entire ground floor of my home. You have your own key box next to your front door. Parking opposite is free. Directly opposite is the promenade and sandy beach, neighbouring bars, restaurants, take-aways, Spa Pavilion and Pier; and high street stores (Tesco, Iceland, Boots, WH Smith), Banks, Post Office and independent arts and crafts.

Beach Hut Seaside Retreat, FOR DAY USE ONLY

PLEASE NOTE THE BEACH HUT IS FOR DAY USE ONLY Daily use beach hut. Second row hut with sea views. Close to kiosk and newly refurbished toilets and car park. A great place to spend some days relaxing by the sea, make a cuppa, walk, read, picnic lunch, have a swim and then have a snooze before a fish and chip supper. The hut is rustic, but comfortable, long benches with cushions for naps, and a stove and kettle. Ideal for couples, families and friends gathering. Doggie friendly.

Lovely Holiday Home right next the Sea in Suffolk

Bring the family to this great place just 50 metres from the lovely Felixstowe beach. Easy walking distance to a whole host of entertainments including the Spa Pavilion, recently renovated Pier with a good restaurant , amusement arcade and then there is the town centre offering a comprehensive range of shops and cafes together with a cinema and bingo hall. A welcoming child and dog friendly local pub just 2 minutes walk away! So much to see and do right on your doorstep.
