The Roost Merthyr Tydfil is a small self-catering cabin site tucked away in a quiet spot. Our location and set up are perfect for bikers, hikers and outdoor lovers. Arosfa is our ensuite cabin. It has an ensuite shower room and kitchenette, sleeps two adults and one child. Its got our big comfy (4ft wide) bunk beds, heater, power and its own lockable bike store. BikePark Wales is a short ride away, we're on the Taff Trail (cycle route 8) and a short drive from the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Situated next to the river, the campsite is set among surrounding trees and hills and offers a scenic location to pitch up a tent and enjoy sleeping under the stars! A toilet and shower block is available for campers to use throughout their stay. Children's play park. Unfortunately vehicles are not able to access the campsite due to its location, Please be advised there is a walk to the campsite. It is exactly 254m from the carpark. There are wheel barrows available to help carry your items.

Within a mile is a popular leisure village consisting of a Vue cinema, bowling and many food outlets including Macdonalds, Harvester, Subway, Nando’s.

Bike Park Wales, built by mountain bike riders is on our doorstep and we are just 20 minutes by car from famous Waterfall Country. Zip World and Penderyn Whiskey are also well worth a visit. Ysgubor Bach is comfortable, has all modern amenities and is enhanced by many original features.
