Blue Door Guest House is designed to be a place where very tired people can come and rest. The Camino de Santiago is a special place for us and this guest house is our version of a pilgrim’s albergue. {We’ve eliminated our cleaning fee since our guests leave the house neat and tidy - we’re saying Thank You! in advance. }

Tonella Farms offers a very private setting and guest suite at a newly established farm. Located 20 miles from Marquette and 30 miles from Munising and Pictured Rocks. Surrounded by forest that is open to recreational activities right out the door (hiking, biking, bird watching, x-country skiing). Only minutes away from Laughing Whitefish Falls and Eben Ice Caves. Snowmobile trail #8 is an easy 1.5 miles south along Dukes Rd, 6 miles on trail to gas in Rumely, plenty of space for trailers.

Four dedicated off-street parking spots and a wildflower garden greet you as you arrive. Stepping inside you'll be immersed in comfort with updated modern amenities and a unique experience of Kalamazoo themed rooms! Fast WiFi, 55" smart TV, serene fully-fenced backyard with calming mature trees and private deck for 6 people.

Cozy Cottage on the Lake.

Cozy Cottage on Five Lakes. Close to the expressway , snowmobile trails and downtown Gaylord. Fully stocked kitchen, fireplace, high speed internet and a smart TV so you can stream your favorite shows or just watch Netflix . Bring your kayaks and your fishing poles - nice deck to watch the sunset. Dogs are welcome for an additional one time fee of $35.00. There is no fence and because this house is on the lake dogs and children must be watched at all times.

To get to your cabin you'll begin by winding your way through a vintage salvage yard, filled with relics of autos and farm equipment of the past. Your Cabin is located back on a quiet hill with excellent views of the surrounding area. The outstanding stars in the night sky will be your last view of the evening. A breathtaking sunrise and the sweet sound of birds will wake you up in the morning.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Wood fired sauna just feet away perfect for chilly nights. Spend the day at local beaches, grab a bite with a glass of Northern Michigan’s best then enjoy your evening around the fire tucked in the woods under the stars. As part of the rustic experience, on a small hobby farm, we do have chickens.
