Welcome to The Howland Hideout! Katahdin Retreat Millinocket

Lake house with full view of Katahdin. Paddleboards and kayaks available. It offers a large open kitchen/living room. Cabin has 5 bedrooms and can sleep 10. Enjoy a hike, bike, or just soak in the view of Mt. Katahdin from the sauna. There are 5 star restaurants within 1/2 mile, Knife Edge Brewery, Golden Road Yacht Club, River Drivers, Fredricka's. It is 1/2 Mile to NEOC. 8 miles to Baxter State Park or North Woods and Waters National Monument. Don't miss out on this little slice of heaven.

Cozy Rural A-Frame in the Middle of Maine.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. This chalet is right on the ITS trail, nestled in the middle of a small lightly wooded lot in a rural setting. Enjoy the fire pit, bring your snowmobiles, bikes and trailers. The space is cozy with a 55" TV and small kitchen to prepare your meals. The bedroom is in the loft with catwalk opening up to a balcony. Enjoy access to year round outdoor activities as you are nearby Katahdin Iron Works/Jo Mary region and near Sebec and Schoodic lakes

We just completed our project & we are so excited about the years to come in the beautiful north woods of Maine - "the way life should be". The perfect weekend getaway spot with beautiful views. It is renovated with an old time cozy camp feel, with modern conveniences. This pet friendly camp is across the street from Schoodic Lake. The cozy camp sleeps 5-6 comfortably with on-site parking for three. The camp is located on ITS 111 trails for snowmobiling and ATVing. Hunting, fishing and hiking destinations include, Baxter State Park, Gulf Hagas, and Katadin Iron Works. Water access at Knights Landing just a short distance away.

Katahdin Riverfront Yurt

Glamping at its best! Beautiful custom built yurt on the banks of the Penobscot river along the Grindstone Scenic Byway. Close to Baxter State Park and majestic Mount Katahdin as well as Katahdin Woods and Waters National Park. Maine Lodge & Cabin getaway

Muk-Bog Lodge is settled on 30 acres of Maine woods and surrounded by more than 100 acres of preserved Maine woodlands. Located on a private drive several hundred yards from the main roadway, this Lodge offers you privacy while still being within 10 minutes of downtown Milo. The Lodge also offers a 30x40 garage for storage or parking while renting. There is also a 12x14 mudroom at the entrance for more storage and a open 12x12 back deck overlooking the firepit and back lawn area.

Windy Point Cottage on Ambajejus Lake

Windy Point Cottage is a full amenity waterfront cottage. Located on Ambajejus Lake, we are only 8 miles outside of Millinocket and about 15 to Baxter State Park. Enjoy the use of our beach and kayaks and then relax on the wrap around deck and watch our amazing sunsets. We also have a fire pit/wood for those nights of sitting around a fire telling stories and creating memories. A gas grill and picnic table are also on premises as well as a screened gazebo.

Beautiful lakefront cottage, Ambajejus Lake

Lakeview is a little cottage that is about 15 minutes to the north of Millinocket Maine and just south of Baxter state park. It is out on the end of a peninsula. It is just steps from the water with beautiful panoramic views of the lake from inside and outside the cabin. From the dock you there is a scenic view of the majestic Mt. Katahdin. All new handmade Amish furniture and beautiful decor will make your stay at Ambajejus Lake a special memory.

Point Chinook Chalet

Leave behind the hustle and bustle of life and relax in our chalet in the shadow of Katahdin. Our 3 story log home has a large "penthouse" waiting for you with a private bedroom upstairs and a private bathroom on the main floor along with a private living room with a 55" tv, Starlink internet, kitchen, a deck with a view of Ambajejus Lake and a BBQ grill along with a table and chairs with umbrella.
