The village of Williton is within an easy stroll, plant of pubs, coffee shops, fish & chips and pubs. A fantastic footpath network runs from the farm. Interact with out horses and ponies or book a riding lesson if you wish.

Barn Conversion in Exmoor National Park

Welcome to The Barn - a stunning conversion of our historic dairy barn. Featuring vaulted ceilings and built from Exmoor stone, it has plenty of character, whilst still having all the amenities required for your time away. Tucked away in the centre of the village of Timberscombe, The Barn is an ideal location to explore Exmoor National Park. We are happy to accept one well trained, medium sized (e.g. labrador) dog, but please keep them off the furniture and do not leave them unattended.

Swallow View, Umberleigh, North Devon

Beautiful guest house just outside Umberleigh in North Devon, in the heart of the Taw Valley. Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Fully fitted kitchen and living room, with a separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Underfloor heating coupled with a log burning fireplace for chilly days. Only a short drive to some stunning beaches and marvelous countryside.

Porthole Log Cabin, Somerset Sea View

Relax in this unique log cabin, with off road parking and all the facilities to make your stay a delight. Amongst the trees, the cabin is in earshot of the seashore with views from inside and outside of the ever-changing tides and hills beyond. Porthole Log Cabin has a king-sized bed with en-suite bathroom, complete with a roll top bath and a separate walk-in shower. Outside, the large elevated decking area has three separate seating areas to enjoy the ambience of the peaceful setting.

A charming retreat just off the high street of beautiful Porlock, set in Exmoor National Park. The cottage has two bedrooms for up to 4 guests and a quaint country garden with seating area. Private off-site parking is available and pets are welcomed, free of charge. Please note during July and August I offer minimum 7 night stays, minimum 3 nights the rest of the year.

The medieval village of Dunster is a 10 minute stroll away with pubs, restaurants, small shops, tea rooms and Dunster Castle (NT). The area is ideal for woodland, coastal and moorland walks. Minehead is a few miles away with its beach, shops, golf course and steam railway. The owners live in the adjacent cottage and are pleased to welcome you and be of any help during your stay.

Dunkery is a family and dog friendly three bedroom, self-catered holiday bungalow with north facing views across North Hill. The property has been completely refurbished to a very high standard, perfect for walkers, romantic escapes and family breaks. Cassia is a bespoke Shepherds Hut, constructed August 2021. Situated on Stockland marshes perfect for walking and bird watching , a quiet retreat to get away from it all. The coast is five minutes drive away. This area boasts one of the UK’s largest new wetland reserves, providing habitat for a mix of wetland wildlife, including otters, wildfowl, owls and waders, migrating birds are an attraction and varied wildlife including dear can often be spotted.

A south facing stylish getaway in the middle of Exmoor National Park. There is private fishing for the keen fisherman, endless doorstep walks, fresh water swimming, a short walk into Dulverton for cream teas, boutique shops and fabulous places to eat. There are French doors that open out onto a stone patio where you can sit and take in the views. Well behaved dogs are very welcome too.

Whatever the season, come and retreat to our luxury shepherd's hut in the grounds of Periton House. You'll find under-floor heating, log-burner, en-suite shower room, kitchen area and a full-size double bed. The hut has it's own covered decking area and a wood-fired hot tub - perfect for enjoying our beautiful view of the edge of Exmoor.
