It is a 1929 beautiful Dutch Colonial that is known for its stunning views of the High Peaks, Ski Jump & Bobsled Run. Private and quiet, yet only 1 block from the Olympic Arena & Main Street. Located in the center of Main St., on Mirror Lake, Below the Books, Beside the Lake is a lakefront, 2 BR, 1 bath. apt. We have a fully equipped kitchen, but if you don't feel like cooking, one of Lake Placid's busiest restaurants is located right next door. There is in-floor heat in the bathroom, a full-size washer and dryer and the bedrooms have wall-mounted AC. You will have your own private deck with gas grill, and access to Mirror Lake. We are happy to share our vacation home, which we've lovingly prepared to share. Quiet 3 bedroom within a 5min walk to downtown restaurants, coffee, breweries, and shops. There are 2 full baths, dining room with seating for 6, living room (w/fireplace, board games, record player, & a beautiful view of the mountains w/o blinds), fully stocked kitchen (microwave, oven/stove, coffee maker, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, prep utensils). Outside patio with table/chairs/umbrella and coal BBQ.

Great room includes a large stone, wood-burning fireplace, HD TV, cathedral ceilings and large windows. The kitchen leads to a screened in porch. The master suite has a king size bed and Jacuzzi tub. Foosball and huge connect 4 in the lower level plus puzzles and games! All of this makes this a perfect vacation home for all ages to unwind and make memories!

It is close to the Horse Show grounds, Olympic Ski Jumping Complex, Ironman Course, Lacrosse and Rugby fields, and just a short drive to Whiteface Mountain and all of the forty-six high peaks.
