Rockwood Motor Court, on historic Route 66, was built in 1929. Each room is themed and furnished to the era of Route 66. Camp Rockwood pays homage to the important history of motor courts along the road. It is decorated with historic photos of Rockwood and other courts and motels. Newly renovated in 2019, you’ll enjoy clean and comfortable room amenities while experiencing authentic motor court lodging. Need more space? Its location in historic downtown Excelsior Springs ensures easy access to diverse dining choices and shopping experiences. A private staircase in the back offers access.

Blue Spruce Room Queen Bed at BnB in CWE!

A Lovely room in a historical St. Louis home! The Blue Spruce Room is on the 2nd floor, and has a recently renovated and beautiful bathroom complete with a walk-in rain shower right next to it. The room has a desk, chair, lamp, table, Amazon Fire TV with basically every major streaming App, newly installed hardwood floors, and a Queen sized-bed. The room has two large windows for plenty of natural light with heavy blinds for sleeping in! Full use of the kitchen upstairs is available!

The Woodsman Suite

A third floor suite, facing the river with the train tracks only a couple blocks away. It took 2 months to do the ceiling. Carefully polished and placed the old lath in a specific design, the ceiling is a work of art. Eighty percent of the material used in this room is from re purposed lumber, either from this building or from a childhood barn built in the late 1800's. It will take you a while to notice every detail down to the toilet paper holder which is from an old barn post.

This room has no stairs - you can take a ramp to the front door and there’s a minimal step to get in the shower. This room also has a pull bar by the toilet and shower for your safety. The shower is a stall type shower. There's also a fan in the room for your comfort. Air mattresses are available for $10/ night.

This room (Casablanca) boasts a jacuzzi and separate shower.
