We will welcome up to 2 accepted guests to a 400 sq.ft apartment. On 2.5 acres of parklike Riverfront in Gales Ferry CT., the suite is in our house but has a separate entrance. We are available for consultation yet respectful of guests' privacy. Bring your Kayak or Canoe or travel.... 20 minutes to Mystic and Mystic Seaport, 3 miles to Mohegan Sun, 7 to Foxwoods, near the Sub Base & Coast Guard Academy,& I-95. Two hours to NYC, 2 hours to Boston. Wildlife viewing from your porch/yard.

Beautiful year round getaway! Relax and have a glass of wine by the lake. Wake early to enjoy the sun rising directly over the lake with a fresh cup of coffee. Private, but close to so much, it’s Perfect for a Romantic Getaway, or a long Vacation. Outside, you can enjoy the breeze from the Riverfront Deck, Sun Bathe, Crab or Fish on the Lower Dock, watch the Eagles fly by, or wander about the wooded property. Bring or rent a Kayak and paddle down the river right to the Long Island Sound.

Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. Lower level has a second mini kitchen with fridge, sink, microwave and table, large living room, bathroom, and doors leading directly onto the lakeside patio. Lower level has a twin size bed in living area for extra sleeping space.
