‘Round the Bend Farm - private, modern cabin

Our newly built, modern cabin offers a secluded and relaxing retreat in Union, Maine. With the high ceilings, open floor plan, and many windows, guests are surrounded by natural light and forest views. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and an outdoor grill and fire pit. Walking trails connect the cabin to our farm next door, where you can visit with our horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. We are just 25 minutes from the Midcoast's shops, restaurants, and beaches.

This newly constructed above garage studio apartment is private, full of light, and effortlessly off-grid. The studio features a king-sized bed, table and chairs, comfy chair and bean bag, as well as a full bath. The patio area gives breathtaking views of the bay and island. Less than a mile from Lake St. George Brewing Company, John’s Ice Cream, and Lori’s Café, the state park and boat launch is also less than three miles away. First floor has 1 bedroom (queen bed), a full bathroom, full kitchen with all essentials, and utility room with a washer and a dryer. The second floor has a half bath and three bedrooms (king, and two queen beds).

It is located just 2/10 of a mile from the village center where the general store, library and town offices are located. Easy commute east to the coast and the must-see towns of Rockland, Rockport and Camden or west to our capitol, Augusta. One hour and forty minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia national park.

Halcyon Ridge is owned by Lynn & Chuck Hadyniak, who live nearby. Lynn & Chuck moved out of New Jersey years ago to get away from the hustle & bustle, & raise a family in peace. They love Freedom for its quiet & natural beauty, & would love to host people at Halcyon Ridge who also want to escape the noise. Stargazers will be delighted: low humidity, expansive view of the southeastern sky, & next to no light pollution, make for wonderful viewing. Rest. Relax. Recharge.

Little Apple Cabin is a private tiny cabin on five wooded acres, created for guests who want quiet, space, and deep rest. Surrounded by trees and farmland, it’s a simple, intentional place to slow down, sleep well, and enjoy Maine without crowds or noise. The cabin features a king bed on the main level, a cozy wood stove, and a wrap-around cedar deck for coffee, reading, and stargazing. Camden and Rockland are about 25 minutes away, and Belfast is about 30 minutes.

Cozy Lakefront Cabin in Freedom, ME

Our secluded, very quiet and private two bedroom cabin with loft features a bug-free screened-in porch on its large deck. The cabin overlooks peaceul Sandy Pond, inhabited by bald eagles, loons, and herons. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets, fish and kayak from our dock. We're close to coastal Belfast, Unity, MOFGA (annual Common Ground Fair), Waterville, Acadia and Camden. Eat at The Lost Kitchen, visit the Amish, hike the Hills to Sea Trail.
